A Guide to Brewing the Perfect Cup

An Introduction: Brewing Nanyang coffee

Is it difficult to brew a perfect cup of Nanyang coffee? Coffee brewers know not to brew their coffee with water over 96ºC (in most cases) so as not to burn the coffee grounds.

In contrast, the best way to extract the aromatic Nanyang coffee taste is with boiling water!

What you’ll Need

Step 2

Add 300 ml of boiling water into the container and allow it to steep for 5 mins.

Optional: Wash the coffee sock and the drinking cup with boiling water just before the 5 min extraction process ends.

This helps to prevent the coffee from cooling down too much when filtered into the drinking cup.
